This is the most frequently used procedure, about 55% of the time.

It is operational under favourable meteorological conditions (10km, 3000ft) the MUS/NERAS-VOR/DME Circle-to-Land With Prescribed Tracks procedure called “RIVIERA RWY 04” by ATC and on the ATIS is used.

The 3° 04L PAPI is situated to the right of 04L threshold ; threshold height has been calibrated for category D aircraft.

04L, 2570 m, is dedicated to landings.

Presence of helicopter traffic between 0 and 500 ft south of the airport, between Cape Ferrat and Cape Antibes. See also tab “helicopters”.
